Business Process Audit
Uncover the processes that are holding your business back
Why do you need a process audit?
Improving your business processes can be one of the most cost-effective ways to improve your company’s overall performance. By evaluating the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of your processes, we’ll be able to help you optimise them to deliver even better results.
If your business processes aren’t optimised, you’ll notice. Certain issues will start to become obvious, such as:
Mundane, manual tasks slow down teams and hinder productivity
Customer experiences become stressful due to cumbersome processes
Data sources become difficult to access, so insights are harder to gain
Process inefficiency leads to difficulty in product and service delivery
To solve these problems, you’ll need to optimise your business processes. And the first stage of that journey is to understand the challenges you face with our three-step business process audit.
Step 1: Preparation
There’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all business, so why should there be a one-size-fits-all process audit?
Before the audit itself begins, you’ll work alongside our team of experts to define your objectives for the whole project, and set your timescales.
We’ll agree which processes need to be investigated, and which key stakeholders need to be involved.
Then, with our audit plan signed off, we can arrange the kick-off meeting to move onto step two.
Step 2: Investigation
Working closely with your stakeholders, we’ll gather, process and interpret all the data needed to carry out a full evaluation.
Each stakeholder will be fully briefed so they know what we’re looking for, and we’ll spend around half a day with each team to fully interview them and understand the challenges they’re facing.
We’ll also observe day-to-day tasks and review any additional documents so that when we present our findings, they’ll be as comprehensive as possible.
Step 3: Reporting and follow-up
Armed with the right data, painstakingly collected during our investigation, we’ll prepare and present two reports for you to review and internalise:
Process Flow Documentation
Gap Analysis Report
This will give you a comprehensive insight into how your processes are functioning, where important flows are interrupted, and where gaps exist.
Following your feedback, you’ll be presented with relevant suggestions designed to improve, future-proof and optimise your business’ processes.
And of course, Transition will be there to assist you every step of the way.
